Hello & Welcome to Black Heart Jewellery!

My name is Jules and I design and create jewellery from my home in Sydney, Australia.

I take pride in my jewellery creations and my personal ‘rule’ is to only put jewellery pieces in my shops that I really love and would wear myself. I also believe in treating others how I would like to be treated and I use this philosophy for each one of my customers.I have been creative for as long as I can remember and have dabbled here & there with many different creative outlets over the years. I started creating jewellery as I could never find the style of jewellery that I love & is ‘me’. Through the compliments that I received from others, along with the encouragement of friends & my family I began ‘Black Heart Jewellery’ in March 2009.

Ask any creative person and they will agree with me, it’s a big step sharing your creations with others as it’s like sharing part of your soul but I am so glad that I have. Through Black Heart Jewellery I have taught myself new skills, met lots of friendly & supportive people and now refer to myself as a Creative Entrepreneur.  I am proud of how my indie business has grown and I love knowing that all around the world there are lovely people wearing something that I created.

Most of the jewellery that is available in the Black Heart Jewellery shop have evolved from pieces of jewellery that I have made for myself over the years. I am influenced by many styles but I am particularly drawn to the Tudor/Elizabethan & Victorian historical eras and the look of the Dark Romance/Gothic & Rock Chick styles. I love being different & not being a ‘sheep’ and I am hoping that my wee bit of a rebellious spirit shows through in my designs.
